1)Based on these photos, the American culture that has been exported around the world seems to be that of the heavy marketers, such as Nike, Disney, McDonald's, etc. These companies are in it solely for the revenue. I mean common, who wants to watch a movie that is a voice over or in subtitles? Definitely not me! Entertainment, Food, and Fun; that is what America seems to be dispersing throughout the world. The companies who turn international feed and thrive off of the American image of freedom and power. In doing so, they boost sales and then build in more areas. The commercializing is the same as in America itself. The advertising gives people false hopes and they buy to become what is seemingly impossible.
These photos are a disgrace to the American culture. I am not proud of these aspects at all. Americans have become a population of largely obese humans, so why would we spread McDonald's to developing nations? The trans fat is a killer, but the money is just to sweet. The head honchos of all the corporations sit in their offices, smiling as they watch the money increase. With every Americanized item that is placed in foreign countries, our nation loses businesses to overseas investors. How is it that we can go on selling our products in other countries when we are slowly but surely being bought out ourselves. How can we make the people realize that the aspects of American culture we send are the wrong ones that we should not be proud of?
